Great Product + Warnings
The packaging was a bit damaged but that’s understandable, it was A LOT powder! More than expected! I will say there were two items within the powder that were difficult to take out. And I think if you have large hands the snow will spill. So open it in a bowl if you are going to take the items out. I didn’t because My hand are reasonably small. Overall great product, a small amount goes a long way. Planning on using this for my slime experiments.

I'm a preschool teacher and have known about Steve Spanglers Insta Snow for a long time. I was glad to see it was now being sold on Amazon..... It is definitely worth it to pay a little more for the "name brand" than to buy it in larger sizes. I have also purchased other kinds and have found them to not expand as much nor feel as soft and satisfying when constituted with water. The Insta Snow says it makes 2 gallons (which to me doesn't sound like a lot) but one container has been plenty for a year in a preschool classroom. I strongly recommend trying it out in a small quantity in your hands (or giving it to children to feel). When you add the water, it literally grows before your eyes and tickles! Parents are always fascinated by this fake snow, and I end up letting them try a handful too! It says it can be dried out and used over and over. Even just over a weekend it will dehydrate and it is fun to watch it puff up again with water. But after being used repeatedly by a. class, it tends to get pretty grey and I throw it away.

Particularly fun in Southern California...
This stuff is REALLY cool!!! My nerdy husband pointed out that I could have just opened a diaper and gotten something similar... but this is really fine so it isn't quite the same. It is soft and fine, and you can re-use it over and over again. One warning for those who noticed that it says it makes two gallons and are expecting a heft package... It's about a cup of powder and weighs under a quarter pound. It probably does fluff up to two gallons, but it's a pretty small package you are actually getting.

So much snow!
This product worked wonderfully for fake snow at our Christmas event. It got slippery, but we just told people to be careful. Anytime it needed fluffing, we just sprayed it with a water bottle. Works well. Feels cold and wet like real snow. Was a HUGE hit. To clean up when it is everywhere, give it a couple of days for the water to evaporate and then vacuum up with a strong vacuum.

Favorite product ever!
This is the most amazing thing I have bought from Amazon to date! It takes 4 small scoops and 1 cup of water. It tripled in size and immediately turned into snow. The product is DRY not wet so it didn't stick to hands. It is cool to the touch and fluffy and just AMAZING. We used less than half of the powder and put it into a long Tupperware. The kids love this and I really do too!

Amazing to see this grow!
Pretty amazing to watch this snow grow! Truely makes 2 gallons of snow. My daughter made tons of slime using this. Fast shipping and good packaging. Only thing is the directions are rolled into the container. In order to get them out. The snow falls out everywhere.

Kept my kids busy for 2 days!
I bought this as a Christmas surprise from our elf on the shelf. My husband mixed it up the night before and we set it outside so it would be nice and cold when the kids woke up. It made a large galvanized buckets worth which was perfect for my 4 kids. They played with it outside for 2 days before it got spread all over the patio. I was a bit anxious about this because I had read in the reviews that it can become messy if it gets wet. We had no issues! It swept up easily and it has rained in the meantime and there is no sign of any residue.

Amazing for slime!
I bought this to make slime and it was amazing!! It created a super sizzly and unique texture. When I first received my package I thought I was scammed, but once I followed the instructions and added water it created tons, with just a little amount of snow! Definitely reccomend buying this, you won't be disappointed

I bought it to make 'snow' for commercial still life photography of small products (liquor bottles, cologne/perfume, etc...). Instructions are simple and clear and the effect is really cool.
